The transformation of this tired little Vredehoek bungalow was extremely rewarding. The client actively encouraged creative freedom with all aspects, allowing experimentation with materiality and finishes. From the street, the steel framed gabion leads you through a lush green courtyard and the entrance through the kitchen. 

From there, the open plan dining and living area leads to the new deck and splash pool with views of the City and Table Mountain. The remaining small floor plan was maximised into two bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms.
